Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers Going From 0 to 200 Real Quick

January 9, 2018

Olivia Munn is moving on with Chris Pratt and it appears that Aaron Rodgers is moving on with Danica Patrick. Poor Anna Faris. According to Terez Owens, Danica flew to Green Bay last week to meet with Rodgers. And this week, he flew to Indianapolis to meet Danica’s parents. They’ve been reportedly dating for like less than a month, so it seems a bit too early to be meeting the parents. But Danica is (allegedly) a race car driver, so moving fast is kind of her thing. Of course, crashing is also her thing. So, good luck, Aaron. Danica has essentially retired from racing, saying she only has two races left in her. That’s about 15 combined laps based on how she drives. She hasn’… Read entire story.

Official ‘Venom’ Trailer and Poster Embrace the Monster Within!

Official ‘Venom’ Trailer and Poster Embrace the Monster Within!

WE… are Venom. Sony didn’t make the best first impression with their initial teaser trailer for director Ruben Fleischer’s Tom Hardy-starring Venom, which showed us a lot of Eddie Brock but none of Venom. Have no fear, because the official trailer out of CinemaCon tonight, as previewed by some leaked footage earlier, shows the monster off in all his glory! Eddie and the Venom symbiote become one for the entire second half of the … [Read More...]

Leaked Footage Shows Tom Hardy Transforming into ‘Venom’!

Leaked Footage Shows Tom Hardy Transforming into ‘Venom’!

One of the biggest issues with Topher Grace being cast as Eddie Brock in Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man 3 was that he looked ridiculous as a hulked-out Venom, especially to those who grew up reading the comics. Thankfully, Tom Hardy was cast as the title character in Sony’s Spider-Man spinoff, which is the next R-rated comic venture. When the first teaser trailer was shared, everyone went into a fervored panic – where the hell was the … [Read More...]

[Overlook Review] ‘Beast’ Confuses with Slow Burn Serial Killer Mystery

[Overlook Review] ‘Beast’ Confuses with Slow Burn Serial Killer Mystery

Playing in the same field of thrillers starring unreliable female heroines like The Girl on the Train or Gone Girl, writer/director Michael Pearce’s striking feature debut unfurls a dark twist to the girl meets boy love story. In this case, it’s the meek Moll (Jessie Buckley), living in an isolated small town community under the strict rule of her oppressive family. Suffering at her own birthday party thrown by her harsh mother, she flees to town … [Read More...]

[Video] First Look at Upcoming ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ Engine Update

“This is, by far, the largest technical update to release for Friday the 13th: The Game.” Various additions/changes have been promised in recent months by the Gun Media team, developers of Friday the 13th: The Game, with the next round of updates originally *hoped* for release sometime this month. Today, the team has announced that an April release for the next update is now out of the question… but it’s coming soon. Gun … [Read More...]

The Monster That Challenged the World (1957)

The Monster That Challenged the World (1957)

The Monster That Challenged the World, produced by Gramercy Pictures and released through United Artists, is essentially a stock-standard 1950s American monster movie, its main distinguishing feature being that it’s fairly competently executed. The U.S. Navy has a research establishment on the Salton Sea. They do all sorts of things there, including the testing of parachutes. Navy personnel make parachute jumps into the Salton Sea and are then … [Read More...]

Drácula (1931, the Spanish version)

Drácula (1931, the Spanish version)

In 1931 if you wanted to reach non-English speaking markets dubbing and subtitling were not options. You had to shoot a second version of the film. In 1931 Universal decided to shoot a Spanish language version of Dracula as well as the Tod Browning-directed English-language version, and to do the two films simultaneously, using the same sets. Browning shot his version during the day. At night George Melford and his crew shot the Spanish version. … [Read More...]

Dracula (1931)

Dracula (1931)

I’ve seen Universal’s 1931 Dracula quite a few times and it’s never impressed me but since I now own it on Blu-Ray I thought I’d give it another try.Of course the biggest single problem with this movie is that it was so influential and has been imitated, quoted, homaged and parodied so many times. Everything about the movie became a horror movie cliché. What you have to keep always in mind is that in 1931 these were not clichés. At the time of … [Read More...]

My Friend Dahmer – Reviewed

My Friend Dahmer – Reviewed

I'd heard a lot of god things about My Friend Dahmer so i thought i'd give it a go and here are my thoughts.Based on the early life of one of Americas most prolific and twisted serial killers My friend Dahmer tells the events of his college days that led up to his first human kill. He had killed many times before but mainly small animals and had a collection of roadkill that he kept in a shed in vats of acid because he liked to see the bones. The … [Read More...]
