Soon, the house is taken over with sexual tension, rivalries, and an unexpected turn of events.” Sophia Coppola’s first two movies, The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation, blew me away when I first saw them, and remain two of my favorite films to this day. Since those gems though, she hasn’t done anything that really wowed me, but it looks like The Beguiled is about to change that.
